Animal Restaurant Anomaly Calculator

Two decision aids in one place: an anomaly lookup backed by the game's own badge evidence, and a milestone planner that converts the shift you just finished into the next official goal. The methodology, a worked example, and the interpretation rules are all below.

Night Shift Anomaly Checker

Check a customer clue

Choose a known entry or type the name you saw. The checker only gives a specific action when current official game information supports it.

Checked Aug 12, 2026
One named response listed

Start with Head Banger

Other names stay unlisted until current game information gives a useful response.

Your typed clue is not stored or sent with analytics. Game information checked 2026-08-12.

Methodology

How the math works

Everything this tool outputs is derived from the game's official badge requirements — there is no simulation, no invented rates, and no numbers from the look-alike mobile game.

Anomaly lookup: a curated match, not a guess machine

Your input is normalized (trimmed, lower-cased, punctuation folded), then matched against the documented-response roster — currently one entry: Head Banger maps to “feed it coffee”, straight from the Keep Their Head Clear badge. A match returns the action plus the context fields the badge does not define, so you can see exactly how far official evidence goes. Anything else returns an explicit unknown state with the observation plan, because a fabricated action for an impostor is the costliest mistake in the game.

Milestone planner: next-goal selection over badge ladders

You enter the last shift you completed; the planner filters each official ladder to the first requirement above your progress: standard shifts (1, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50), no-death streaks (10 and 20), and three-player goals (5, 10, 15, 20, 25). Perfect Dish counts live on their own ladder — 1, 10, 25, 50, 75, 100, 250, 500 — and are tracked on the dedicated Perfect Dish guide.

Worked example: you just finished Shift 7

Enter 7 and the planner returns: next standard milestone Shift 10 (Night Employee badge), next no-death target Shift 10 (Clean Record — reach it with zero customer deaths), and next three-player goal Shift 10 (Working Together, if your trio holds). Perfect Dish goals ride their own ladder — your dish total drives that one, not your shift number. One session, three named badges — that is the whole point of the planner: it converts a completed shift into the exact objectives the game itself rewards next.

Interpreting the results

  • Badge names in the output are the game's own — if you earn the goal, Roblox awards the badge under that exact name.
  • Difficulty context: 140,693 players hold Night Employee versus 2,427,224 for First Day, so a double-digit shift is a real accomplishment, not a tutorial formality.
  • The planner never predicts difficulty curves or payouts — the developer publishes neither — it only sequences the documented goals.
  • If the game adds milestones (the badge list is an Alpha surface and moved as recently as October 6, 2026), the ladders here update from the badges API and the change is logged on the updates page.

FAQ

Tool questions

What does this calculator compute?

Two things, both from official data. The anomaly lookup matches the behavior you saw against the developer-documented response list (Head Banger to coffee), and the milestone planner turns the shift number you completed into the next official badge goal for standard, no-death, Perfect Dish, and 3+ player ladders.

Where do the numbers come from?

From the game's own badge requirements: standard shifts at 1, 5, and every 5 through 50; Perfect Dishes at 1, 10, 25, 50, 75, 100, 250, and 500; no-death streaks at Shifts 10 and 20; three-player goals at Shifts 5 through 25. All are official Roblox badge texts, rechecked October 7, 2026.

Why is there no coin or upgrade math?

An upgrade calculator needs published costs and effects, and the developer documents neither — the description says only 'earn cash and upgrade your restaurant'. Inventing a payback formula would produce confident nonsense, so the tool sticks to the math the badges actually define.

The anomaly checker said 'unknown' — is it broken?

No. One response is documented by an official badge (Head Banger, coffee). Any other behavior returns the observation plan on purpose: a made-up action for an impostor guest is exactly the mistake the game punishes.

Does the tracker upload my progress anywhere?

No. Shift progress is stored browser-local; nothing is sent to a server, and badge ownership should always be confirmed in Roblox itself.
